10 Grand Central was designed by Ely Jacques Kahn in 1931, embodying the renowned architect’s “New York style,” a term he coined in a New York Times article the same year. Now owned by Marx Realty, this 38-story Beaux Arts beauty underwent a year-long facade restoration in 2022.
Royal was responsible for repairing and replacing the roof, parapets, bricks, decorative stone, and terracotta, as well as rebuilding the corners, repairing decorative stone, and restoring decorative metal elements.
