About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee and manage all aspects of facade restoration projects, ensuring successful execution from inception to completion. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in managing facade restoration projects in New York City, possessing a deep understanding of local regulations, industry best practices, and historical preservation techniques.
Lead and manage multiple facade restoration projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed scopes of work, budgets, and timelines.
Conduct thorough site assessments and develop restoration strategies, considering the structural integrity, historical significance, and architectural requirements of the facades.
Coordinate and supervise project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and timely completion of tasks.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to facade restoration and historical preservation.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, specifically in facade restoration projects in New York City.
Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
In-depth knowledge of facade restoration techniques, materials, and historical preservation standards.
Strong understanding of New York City building codes, zoning regulations, and landmark preservation guidelines.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and delivering within budget.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Proficient in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
PMP, CHST/ASP/CSP, DOB SSM/SSC/CS certification or equivalent is a plus.
